@seaks The cat shelter called him Khan, but it didn’t really suit him.
We already had Marshmellow, our 18-pound chonkster. Marsh is very deliberate. Put food down and he thinks a bit and then starts eating. Marsh always thinks a bit first about everything. Archie jumps right in—a cat of action.
So Archie is named after Archie Goodwin, the P.I. who did the legwork for Nero Wolfe, the overweight, contemplative detective in the books by Rex Stout. But Marshmellow never got renamed Nero.

@seaks Having said all that, sometimes when they’re being furry little idiots, I think we should have renamed them Gilligan and Skipper. That vibe fits them too, the little beasts.
