    This is my cat. Sitting beside a unusual-looking tomato (just starting to ripen). Called a catfaced tomato.

    Apparently, this tomato phenomia is called catfacing because the fruit looks like a cat face. Not sure. There might be a resemblance, but the power of suggestion is strong.

    Catfacing in tomatoes seems to occur when multiple flowers are in close proximity and is more common in heirloom varieties and when the blossoms are exposed to cool temperatures.

      Cat has a "mom do i have to be in the photo" look. very enjoyable cute animal and weird fruit.
