Makes me wonder what MLB player had the most memorable final game.
Not
but I booed Kobe his whole career, but made sure to cheer for him in his last game. And what a game.

As much as I disklike the Dodgers -which may be a surprise to no one- I was truly happy that Kershaw finally won a ring in 2020 while nabbing two wins in the WS. Was just hoping it would be with some other team.
With that out of the way, I'm all for another four run outing, after all, he has a 4.63 postseason ERA.
In the grand scheme of things, when he gets in on the first ballot that last game won't matter that much.
Useless Phillies
Not so tough without the freaking ghost runner, huh?
I can understand someone going to see them as a kid and becoming a fan, but those grown ups who choose a team to root for just because "they are good" are the worst.
I do like Judge and a few others, but screw Grisham (and a few others)
"Not today, Maple Satan"
- The Yankees, probably

I was ok with the Phils winning in 2022, but this time I want the Cubs gone.
Phillies, it's like they don't even want to. (no idea what happened on todays game)
@fc
Hopefully I get my shots this month but it seems they will be a couple of weeks late as I caught a mild case of whatever everyone else is struggling with, but it only lasted half a day so can't really complain.
With the new influx of BlueSky users we are about to have the Third CW Crusade upon us.
Already saw one of the sacred Gatekeepers being shot down in flames by an angry villager armed with an Logitech keyboard
Never change, social media.
OTD, 100 years ago, my great-grandfather Juan Nepomuceno Lopez[b. late 1850s] died of angina in the mining town of Copala, Sinaloa,
where he'd been a civil registry officer for over two decades.
Had at least 13 children, 10 with my g-gm Elena Dueñas [1867-1911], which he beat up pretty bad to the point I still heard stories as they seemed to be scared of him. At least my grandfather was not like that at all.
Not something you want to be remembered for but those are the stories I have.
Don't think I've ever heard of Rick Matula.

A self-inflicted quesadilla was just what I needed.
Ouch, can't really blame Judge for chasing that third strike
This Yankees- Blue Jays game getting better
Bases loaded for Judge.
Back in 2022 I rooted for the Phillies in the WS.
These Cubs? Go Brewers.
However I'm more mad at the Padres offense.
