:: When I arrive home from work something is off. My apartment isn't empty. There is someone on the couch. Waiting. A body and face I know all too well: it's me, but some ten years older.
Of course I run.
Because I know myself. I know what's coming. She catches. Me. She's strong. I'll be working out it seems!
She pries my mouth open. Force-ably brushes my teeth and my only consolation is thinking about the delight I will take on doing the same to my even younger self once I escape.

@futurebird Most of us would go back in time to say "invest in so-and-so" or "don't do that thing that ruins your life" or "you need to do this thing to save yourself."

I have considered just telling younger me to "brush your teeth" but I know that won't work. It required a traumatic and dramatic action to make the proper impression.
