Cease will be 30 at the end of December. > He averaged 97 mph on his fastball last year. He had an off-season last, 4.55 ERA but the year before he had a 3.47 ERA. He was number 3 on Ben’s list and number 9 on Keith Law’s list. He’s made 32 or 33 starts for five straight years. Per Jeff Passan, the deal is pending a physical for Cease.
