    Good morning,
The feeder is as busy as normal on a bright sunny start to the day. Greenfinches, the tit gang, and a sparrow squadron have not gone to church, they're here emptying the seed feeders.

I happened to look out of the west-facing office room window ('dual aspect office' in estate agent) just at the instant a heron was making a flypast. I'm having that one for my 'species observed at home' list! It was heading south, so I swapped to the other window and watched it on it's way. There is a lake up on the Bodmin Moor about four miles away (as the heron flies), so I expect it was heading there to have a nice quiet fish in the sun. No rush. Herons have all the time in the world.

Anyway, another blue tit investigating feeder picture.

Uh-oh... it appears starlings can fit in too. That fat in there won't last long now they've found it.
