Sorry if you already know this, but I recommend watching something about Wayne Gretzky if you haven’t. He retired over 25 years ago but is _still the greatest hockey player of all time_. He played for the Kings from 1988-1996 and there’s a statue of him at crypto.com arena! His trade from the Edmonton Oilers to the Kings was legendary. He put Southern California hockey on the map pretty much overnight. First, enjoy yourself! The Kings are a fun team with some old veterans (Kopitar, Doughty) some young up and comers (Byfield, Clark) and some groovy talent (Kempe, Fiala) One rule some folks don't know about until it's too late, if you bring a hat and someone scores three goals, you "have" to throw your hat on the ice for them (it's a hat trick.) The NHL has pretty good 10 minute hihhlight replays on their website for every game, they're also on youtube.

Mate. We are watching it right now. I don't even understand it fully, know the score and I'm still on the edge of my seat. If hockey is normally even 5% as good as this, I totally understand the attraction.
