(Having named obscure novels by a not well known author, I might be obligated to explain, but I made plans to go to a library book sale today, so in this essay I will not.)

@OctaviaConAmore @DuchessOfSnork People move to this place and get involved in the organizations I like because it’s supportive and frankly it’s why I’m here too among other things. Despite being cis, transphobes skeeve me out more than racist people —which is odd I guess. But I feel like I know how racist people work and they are easier to ignore as less likely to startle me.
