I remember one particular post with a long audio recording of a screenreader reading a ton of different emojis in one single post, it made a lasting impression as you can tell!
So I’m curious, do screenreaders have a setting now allowing to turn off emojis, or do they skip clapping hands only?

@nellie_m @futurebird You misunderstood. When you use this website, https://clap.sh/ all my screen readers ignore those emoji for some reason, but when you use the emoji on your keyboard, none of my screen readers ignore those. There is no setting to disable emojis. I wish everybody that wanted to make that kind of post would use https://clap.sh/ so I never have to hear the emoji. If you use the emoji on your keyboard, we will hear that regardless of what screen reader we use
