There is a video and music artist who hits the sweet spot for me when it comes to this holiday and others. If you've followed me you have heard me mention #GAKHED before.
I suspect that their short videos may work best for those of us who grew up in suburbs. Nothing is universal. To be American (USAian?) is to accept that some part of your heritage is blended with the commodified world. But, that won't keep me from joy.
