well my main device is a steam deck now. and rockstar don't seem to like linux. so its difficult for me to feel all that excited. but I hope you guys have a nice time.

Really unlikely it runs well on steam deck specs anyway. Plus there's usually a significant lag between their console releases and PC releases.

I recently beat GTAV and thought, "Finally I'll check out Online play." Rockstar dropped Linux BattlEye anti-cheat support AFAIK back in December. No reason given, just one day penguins were doing multiplayer, the next day not. I fear their super late PC port will share the same fate. Bummed and angry at the same time.
