I DONT CARE

You defeat these people by exploiting their deep seated insecurities. Sometimes that backfires like when Seth Meyers got trump to run for president, but that's the exception.

You say that, but it seriously looks like cheating in and being bad at video games is hurting his reputation even among the chuds.Maybe; but either way it means he gets to have more air-time and head-space. Being disliked for someone trivial, such as being bad at a computer game, doesn't really translate across to more important things. So that reputational damage is shallow and unimportant, but maintaining his position as being newsworthy is powerful and useful to Musk. So I agree with the other guy: better to not fuel these discussions about trivial junk. If you want to keep talking about Musk, then stick to stuff that matters.

Yeah, when he's going out of his way to wreck the lives of the poor, he deserves it. More. Fuck him.He deserves the attention? Why? That's exactly what he wants!

If it helps, one of the reasons the KKK lost power decades back was because Superman comics ridiculed them enough that people were embarrassed enough to be a part of them. Essentially, this is how you combat a culture war. Sad as it is...

I DONT CARE but i care enough to tell you to not post this crap and that everyone who cares about what video game the fascist prince is playing also needs to touch grass

Sure, if he could pick and code what attention he gets, he'sd pick positive attention every time. But if he had to pick between negative attention and being ignored by the media, I think he'd pick negative attention. At least that's my read. And selfishly, I'm really tired of seeing Musk and Trump all over my news feed.

If you want to keep talking about Musk, then stick to stuff that matters.A large percent of the population tunes out when you talk about real problems. They don't understand them or don't want to think about them. They'll still have some fun making fun of a billionaire who so pathetically craves nerd cred that he'll cheat at a video game. Now every time Musk does something, one of the top 3 comments, even in non-left spaces, will be people making fun of him for cheating in POE2. It exposes him as a sham and undermines the air of competence he tries to convey. Is it stupid and shallow? Yes, but so are most people.
