A team of astronomers has discovered a super-Earth world orbiting within the habitable zone of the sun-like star Kepler-725. The planet was found with a technique called Transit Timing Variation (TTV), which enabled them to detect the planet by calculating its gravitational effect on another planet in the system. The new world, Kepler-725c, is a super-Earth with 10 times the mass of Earth, taking 207 days to orbit and receiving 1.4 times the solar radiation of Earth.
