There must be some way to light up the field at the stadium and NOT have so much light pollution-- maybe some kind of shades or blinders on the lights?

Or they could use red light instead... that would be fitting...

@futurebird you got me thinking about the physics and biology of bearsized ants and that made me realize that all but one of my precious internal organs are just strapped haphazardly to a pole and the last one sits in an armored cockpit atop the pole.
