@futurebird I thought I'd take a photo of an ant, but it was on my spectacles so I couldn't get a good look at it and also couldn't get a very good photo, and after all that it turned out to be an ant-mimicing spider instead.

I would have guessed it was a wasp, but I assume you were able to see there were 8 legs?
