Eight Reds & Bobby Abreu. Why Abreu? Because I blanked on Jerry Reuss or Mike Cuellar or anyone else. No seriously, slim pickings for ex-Reds.
Conine was Mr. Marlin! There were better options (Benito Santiago, Terry Pendleton) but my brain couldn’t get past Conine.
Johnny Cueto &George Foster?! Makes for a damn fine grid!
Cheers!

I feel like you use Abreu and Chen a lot.

Was gonna call him on Clint Hurdle, because I use him often.
Also, no idea Latos was a grid wildcard, six teams after his Padres/Reds years.

Oh, I definitely do! Lived in Philly 15 years and watched Abreu a ton. Great all-around player.
Chen was a Phillie and a Red and a lot of other places, so he comes to mind easily and fits frequently.
But I really start each grid with, “Does Gary Redus fit today?”

Clint Hurdle was a high school phenom from Merritt Island, Florida, near where I grew up. Local legend.
