So said Iowa Senator Joni Ernst when challenged on her support for deep cuts in Medicaid and SNAP programs with the proposed Republican budget.

Then after the meeting in which she said this, she posted a video on social media inviting people to accept her lord and savior Jesus Christ.

In 2022, Ms. Ernst stated,

"I'm proudly and adamantly pro-life."
