Willie R is someone that deserves to be in the HOF . His 65.9 WAR is well beyond guys like Maz and Rizzuto
Interesting use of him today .. did not remember his really great season in his penultimate year with the Bewers hitting .327 with a 4.3 WAR
Finally I can’t pass on complaining about the Pirates trading him l, Dock Ellis and Ken Brett for Doc Medich .. bleh

Terrific grid. You mention Rizzuto and it’s always weird to me. He’s a classic “Yankee Hall guy”—guys who are in the Hall mostly because they were Yankees.
But then, I’m always confused by Willie Randolph and Thurman Munson. They both look so Hall-worthy to me AND they were Yankees. Yet both are outside looking in.
Bernie Williams was 2 votes and done too, although he’s a lesser case.
