If you ask fans of other AL East teams who they dislike more, it's going to be the #Yankees over the #RedSox by a fairly large margin.
Anecdotally, when fans of each come up for road games in #Toronto you'd much rather sit next to Bosox fans (real ones from New England that is). They're jovial, generally like talking baseball and will engage in some friendly back and forth. Traveling Yankees fans are typically sociopaths who won't engage the locals to the point that you wonder how some of them cleared customs.

Oh yeah, well aware of the fans. I remember the stories of Padres fans who.were at Yankee Stadium during the 98 WS. Utter jerks.
And long story but listening to a lot of Mets and Yankees games in Spanish warmed me a bit to those teams.
