I truly hope as many people (especially cis people) as possible protest this hateful policy.Please, if possible for you, do not comply for any athlete. Let the administration know that you will not comply because it is hateful and harmful to trans teens and adults to do so.
As a second option to a protest, perhaps male only or co-ed sports are an option for your athlete.

Boys don't need to do anything annoying like this. How is that fair. Seems sexist.
