Damn! He had a truly remarkable glam rock career with the New York Dolls.
Then he had a whole second career as retro lounge entertainer “Buster Poindexter.” He was the house singer on SNL for years. His “‘Zat You, Santa Claus?” is definitely on my Christmas playlist.
Really an amazing performer and seemed like he was having a great time.
