If you take Canadian oil out of the equation, Canada actually has a trade deficit, and the U.S.

If you take Canadian oil out of the equation, Canada actually has a trade deficit, and the U.S. has a surplus — of $58 billion.
We supply oil to the USA to ensure North American energy independence, so North America can never again be held hostage by OPEC countries.
How f*cking DARE Trump spin this to his gullible followers to make Canada appear to be taking advantage.
Every democracy in the world needs to stand with Canada against Trump, Musk, and Putin.

Hi there, people of Canada.... it's awfully embarrassing to be an American at this point. Do try to put up with the present lunacy - it's like Uncle Don's been sneaking out back and smoking some bath salts again. We need to corner him and get him into treatment - it would be very sad if he weren't surrounded by ass kissers as bad or worse than him.
We need to get him loaded up in a cattle car and transported to a detox facility. Or something.

@meanwhileincanada@ohai.social Well, the thing you have to remember is that Trump makes it a personal policy to not pay for anything. He thinks it's embarrassing that the US is paying Canada for... goods and services. The advantage he sees us taking is... expecting payment for the shit they buy.
So, by his definitions, we're absolutely taking advantage of the US.
