When it comes to masks I feel very frustrated. I do not feel equipped to know what sort of policy might make sense. It makes sense to me that many people think “COVID was fake” the alternative is far more disturbing. Yet when a mask ban on public transit in NYC began to loom that was enough to get me on board again. If only to make THAT idea difficult. I decided to use masks in enclosed spaces where I have contact with people I don’t see everyday. And in *every* space where it is banned.

The virus is obviously not fake and doesn't care if we are strangers or not. I wear a mask everyday in the office, usually the only one doing so. And, surprise, I am the only one who never gets sick at all with anything.I have stopped trying to figure out why so many people think being bedridden with pain & fatigue is completely normal. I wear a mask to keep me and my family safe & also to show solidarity to others who may feel the same way but are afraid of being singled out.
