NYC teenaged boys STILL wear timbs and Yankees hats. Is there some kind of uniform? A secret ceremony where they are given their jeans and timberlands?
I guess technically it's a "retro look" now. The real losers here are the poor teen girls (and guys I guess) who have to put up with this for, what? Three decades now?

I'm an old lady but I will never stop seeing those manilla work boots and thinking "does he work in construction?? is he going to replace a water heater??"
