Whenever a item like a notebook has the option for “customization” I get the scientific name of one of my favorite ants instead of my own name (seeing my name on my notebooks makes me feel goofy. I hadn’t realized how many times I’d done this until I organized the desk this morning:
Dinomyrmex gigas
Polyrhachis armata
Santschiella kohli
Acropyga pallida
Each of these ant species is remarkable and you could spend a life time learning about them. Seeing their names makes me happy!
