To prove I don't only say critical things about LLMs. I asked chat GPT to please clean up a letter I wrote with speech to text and it did a great job.
It only made a few mistakes and if this service weren't so deeply discounted as I suspect it is I could see this making speech to text even more viable. For example it fixed the punctuation and only flubbed one mis-heard word.
Was it worth it? I don't know.
