    There’s this weird behavior from Democratic thinkers trying to figure out how they lost the last election and unclear about how to win the next one.

    These people see Bernie and AOC filling halls, and Mamdani handing Cumo his ass and say things like “populism isn’t the way forward for Democrats,” or “socialism won’t win in a general election” and it is clearer every day that the Democratic Party will need to be dragged into the future by the will of the people, or left behind.
