    We might just have to put the whole "teach people critical thinking" thing to rest, friends.

    I have engaged with *literal experts* in "critical thinking" who...couldn't accept they had any bias.

    So - very little "critical", almost no "thinking".

      i’ve always struggled with the notion of “teaching critical, thinking” some of the time it can just seem like a fancy way to say, teaching people to apply a wider sphere of self-criticism. It is a flaw that can never be fully rectified; and where we encounter or present or discover our own obstinance may either be matters so trivial they don’t warrant debate or matters so foundational that to debate them is terrifying.
