Today I explained what “cloudfire” was to the 6th graders (can’t do our design work because of the failure point of cloud computing) and I also gave several shamelessly smug knowing looks to the IT head who fights with me about having them code in compilers that run on their chromebooks (I do have some sympathy for his position, but I’m still the pure and moral one in this debate)
