I’ve also always thought it’s ridiculous that throwing drugs out the window or flushing them so the cops can’t charge you with them is a crime in itself. I should have a 5th amendment right to flush my drugs if I want to.
OK. But I *like* the rule that shredding documents to avoid being prosecuted for business fraud is a crime. Is that the same legal concept?
