I believe that teenagers should be allowed to use HRT. If teenage me had access to it, I would be a lot less fucked up as a person.

Liberal transphobia manifests most often as them humoring adult transgender people to look progressive, while also saying that trans kids should be trapped living as their agab "because we don't want people to be making drastic changes to themselves".

I resent it. I was a trans kid. I should have been given the option of avoiding a significant chunk of the trauma and mental health disorders I endured during my high school years.

People deserve the right to live as the gender they feel the most comfortable in. Including children and teenagers. Because children and teenagers are human beings.

"parental rights" are great and all, but what about the rights of children? The right of children and adolescents to age appropriate personal autonomy should not be sidelined just for the feelings of parents. Especially because a lot of people have psycho parents
