Finally home.
While my husband has been sick I've been trying to live with a tooth ache. More specifically an infection that had something to do with my bridge. Salt water rinses weren't helping.
Today, I stood in line for a same day emergency appointment at my dentist.
The triage process put me at the front of the line.
Ninety minutes later I was in the chair for dental surgery.
It seems that years ago a sharp shard of bone was left behind during another dental surgery and it decided to try and escape. The dentist couldn't believe I could maintain my calm but I don't see how anything else would have helped.
Now the pesky shard has been removed and I have antibiotics.
I can't tell you how thankful I am for these people and their kindness to me.
After the holidays I will bake for them.
I told Summer that I am worn out.
