If you aren't saying "Abolish Ice" it makes it seem like maybe they aren't just lying all the time about the people they are killing.

What other response is possible? It's supposed to be "immigration enforcement" but they just kill people and lie about why they did it. That can't be "retrained."
You already know body-cameras won't do anything. When we do have video they just ignore it and say our eyes are the liars not their murderous tongues.
Abolish Ice Now.
Abolish it Yesterday. -

Abolish it Yesterday.Go back in time, and never make up a thing called "ICE" in the first place. We have a way to do "immigration enforcement" its a weird new idea and it's bad.

Abolish it Yesterday.@futurebird the guy who killed renee good got out his phone to film it for us so clearly a lack of photo evidence was not the problem there

There are people, like me, who said ICE was a bad idea from the start. Who said "abolish ICE" ten years ago because we looked at what it was, how it was designed and we KNEW this is where is was going.
And we were called unreasonable, crazy. "The American people have a lot of respect for law enforcement your words won't poll well."
Part of the source of that respect is how leaders treat them as if they are untouchable. Who has taught "the American people" this? It's ya'll.

Abolish it Yesterday.Schumer has said they're willing to not advance the funding Bill - so the question to ask is " unless what "

@futurebird Looking from the outside (and I don't think I'm prophetic, just cynical and pessimistic, a gen X at heart) I said back then, that looks like someone is building their version of SA.

@GoblinQuester @futurebird Specifically from the people who wanted to be cops, military, etc., but weren't good enough. (Really, the whole of Homeland Security is like this. All the people who could do the job were already working for the FBI etc. which was why they had to recruit off pizza boxes.)

Indeed, Ice is a slippery slope.

@futurebird 10 years ago? 2016 is that long ago already?
I thought it would happen in his first term already.
And the damn Dem years with too many (money) strings attatched and doing nothing much ...
