I was confused and a little annoyed the Walz told people to stay home from protests today. But, he may have known that the likely murderer had flyers for some protests in his car which, given his other targets makes for some very dark suggestions about what he was going to do next. So, maybe Walz didn't want to see a mass shooting with this guy still running around.

@futurebird I'm sure that is the case, but it's sad he didn't say, "I am calling on law enforcement to protect those exercising their first amendment rights today. We will not be cowed just because we have a killer in our midst."

These right wing gun guys showing up to protests isn't a new thing, so I at least understand his reaction more.
Also since he was on the guy's "list" he was probably mostly thinking about "what if my wife got shot or my son?" anyway that's what I'd be thinking

@futurebird @VirginiaHolloway His security company effectively role plays as cops (same vehicles and gear). The worry, I'm sure, is him hiding in plain sight and hurting more people. I can't find the article, but one indicated that he had already fooled the police once after the initial assassinations.

Immensely irritated they haven't found this clown yet. No one in MN will be able to relax until they do. And with every hour the range of disease and uncertainty grows.
Perhaps he has already shot himself and died in some hole. Though I wanted to see him answer questions as I think that when these kinds of people don't die it robs them of some mysteriousness.
