It means "neat tidy and a little obnoxious but in a way that no one can figure out how to complain about legitimately."

The nice thing is they'll be off this in a month. Kind of curious where it came from... but not enough to ask (and they never know)
That is, they will be off it in a month unless a bunch of old people start complaining about it to them. Then they might stay on it for like two years. Let's just skip that OK?
