This is one of my favorites of the series. One of two that deals with, “We made the afterlife real” and all that entails.
There is a whole bit that could be cut for plot and seems to exist just to exercise the imagination, but it’s fine.
The ending is one of my favorites of any book. It does it so quickly and deftly. It could be a shaggy dog story, but it turns in the exact right, surprising way to be sublime (haha).
