I made the note, that when the first shot is heard, the victim can clearly be seen on their knees, both hands and neck firmly controlled by the agents.
There is no way the victim could have fired a gun from that position. Therefore, the explanation that an agent who had left the safety off from a gun and fumbled it seems very plausible to me.

@inthehands this is like a game of telephone, but fwiw, Aaron Parnas is reporting that the Star Tribune reported “that federal agents attempted to order local police to leave the scene where the man was shot and killed by federal agents earlier this morning. According to the report, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara refused to comply with that demand and instead instructed his officers to remain on site and preserve the scene.” (quoting Parnas)

@inthehands another video from a different angle has emerged, which Aaron Parnas says he has confirmed is from the “woman in pink” (she can be seen in the original video). I share this update because it’s been reported and people are worried that she has been detained by ICE who would likely also destroy her video. I don’t know her status, but the video appears to be available to see. I’m not going to link to it. It’s horrible. I hope she is okay.

ICE is blocking MN investigators from the crime scene. The MN National Guard is on the way to force ICE to let investigators in.
(NB: Still trying to find a confirmed source for this; I have no further info yet)

LMAO. "Being scared" is part of law enforcement's job. That's why training is so important: how to properly handle a weapon, how to handle an adrenaline rush with a loaded weapon in your hand, how to manage a crowd and de-escalate violence, etc.
DHS and ICE, which means Trump and Miller don't give a shit. They intentionally hire unvetted incompetents with virtually no training, but with full combat armor and weapons, at a civilian population and tell them to enforce obedience.

@inthehands From the press conference a bit ago on cspan, General Mankey made it sound like the national guard were being called in to assist the Hennepin County Sheriff in, among other things, protecting the Whipple building, and are mobilizing additional national guard at this time.
They also confirm feds abandoned the scene to local law enforcement who in turn abandoned it to protestors.
