    I was talking with some of the other teachers at lunch and discovered that people still watch regular television. Then I felt bad for not knowing what's going on.

    They were talking about some show on HBO "Canadian Radiators"? Or "Sexy Hockey" something "Heaters" ? it's apparently gay but also sexy. Probably too much for me. Now I think I might need to watch some of it because I couldn't keep up with the conversation.

    I'm still glad there is a popular show with some gay stories.

    @futurebird

    First few days on a new job in the '90s. Everyone at lunch is gossiping about Jerry, George, and Elain. No idea who all those people were. A few months later I learned they were characters in a sitcom called "Seinfeld". Weird.

      Yeah.

      I did keep up with "Lost" when it was on. And "Game of Thrones" ... but that was the last big show.

          @futurebird it's not only the show, the audiobook seems to have been topping audiobook sales for a while

              It is reviewed in the Guardian today. The shower scenes are very tastefully done, apparently.

                          @BLTpizza @futurebird We could do so much with that. I'm already making up characters, like Todd from season 1 of Sexy Hockey.
