@futurebird I think there are some important differences. For example: The Colossal "dire wolves" do not actually contain any dire wolf DNA; just a few edits which (debatably) resemble dire wolves. In contrast, since all cattle contain some Aurochs DNA, being descended from Aurochs, so do the Heck cattle, even if the Heck cattle don't contain any more than the average cow. In this way, despite the numerous flaws in the Heck cattle, they're better than the Colossal "dire wolves" in this respect.
