The fastest way to get kids to stop using some neologism or some annoying meme is to try to get in on it and be a REAL cornball about it.
I learned a bunch of "6 7" jokes to just this end and that number has never troubled me since.

I feel a little bad about it but I really really really could not take it anymore as a math teacher. It was a rough few weeks for all of us.
