NBA journalist Windhorst said the most damning thing. It does seem like Lakers have swiftly pivoted away from Bron. The old man still got it in him to make one more run based on how he's playing in these playoffs.

I don’t doubt that they care more about Lukas timeline but not sure the Williams trade was going to be enough for a true run anyway so why go through with it if there were legitimate concerns? I haven’t really kept up with the fallout from the rescinded trade so not sure if they ever found out what was wrong with him?

That's big news coming from LeBrons best friend lol I think LeBron knows this and it doesn't seem like LeBron cares. I honestly think it's kind of what he's wanted or at least what he's said he's wanted for years now. LeBron wanted AD be the guy in LA but he's just not that guy. LeBron wanted Kawhi to be the guy but, he went to the clippers. Luka is that guy and LeBron seems like he's relaxed since the trade. As far as the Williams trade, I think LA got word that "Center X" wants to sign/trade to LA in the off-season and just came up with an excuse to back out of the trade.

IDK off the top of my head but, every lob threat in the league lol. Ironically maybe Daniel Gafford since he's basically 3rd string center now that AD is there. Giannis even considering the Bucks are basically dead after the Dame injury 🤷🏻. I think every center would love to play with Luka.

The Lakers and Mavericks have been known to make trades in the past lol. Really though IDK, I'm just thinking out loud. I haven't looked at free agents/capspace/trade-machine numbers and all that.

yeah I mean they can make a trade for him. maybe a 3rd team involved. How about Lakers trade Bron to Dallas for Gafford and another player and picks? lol
