@futurebird Time. The quantum physics of it all. Rovelli is the top in this field. He walks you through the beginnings of science and scientific method all the way to planck space and quantum wave function. It's just beautiful.

The audiobook is great. With non-fiction sometimes audiobooks don't work, but this one is worth listening to. (Or just read the paperback)

But this sounds like I should make an exception...My impression of him having spent a whole book reading the way he presents natural history is very positive.
I also avoid The Atlantic... didn't know he had anything to do with that?

I must warn you. If you read this book you will become a bit of an annoying person who, whenever someone says something like "pigeons are stupid" or "snakes don't have feelings" you may launch into a whole discourse about how "intelligence is contextual" and other wild things.
But I was already a bit like this it just made it worse.

I think he did some award winning biology/science/medical coverage for them around COVID and vaccines. But my sense is he's a good writer independent of his connection to that magazine. (Second-hand, I haven't actually picked up his books although I should)

I think that's just a free sample. You can get the the whole thing with a library app for free, or buy the audio book with a service. It's 14 hours and goes by fast!
