Skenes is an excellent pitcher. He has a long way to go, to catch up to guys like Kershaw of course. I hope Pirates fans enjoy him while it lasts, because their ownership won’t want to spend what it will take to keep him in free agency.

Skenes is a special talent for sure but he’s got an uphill battle with Yoshi lined up against the pirates bats. And if it he leaves with a close game, the dodgers love to score a ton late. I feel for the guy. He’d look good in a blue hat.
