    OK, that's cool, because Budapest famously just takes its water straight from the Danube. (But filters it through massive caves, which somehow works.)

      All I can say is, when I first went to Budapest in 1988 and drank the tap water, that was the first time I can remember thinking, wow, that water tastes pretty good.

        Honestly NYC tap water is amazing. IF you let it rest first.

        It's not hard water. Kettle has no residue. It's just perfect.
