Yeah, turns out $80 for a game will have people only buying must have games or in my case no games at all.I don’t think that $80 price tag that’s causing this. There are no new retail games at this price currently other than Mario Kart and anyone interested got a bundle. Zelda rereleases make 0 sense to buy retail, I got a used copy of Switch release and Nintendo Online + or whatever it is called at half the price.

This post did not contain any content.well... yeah. nobody wants to buy a full price game that they already own on steam that they got on sale 3 years ago. why would they? the only people those games are marketed for are nintendo exclusive users who have no other game platform. the world spins regardless of if nintendo decides to put out a new overpriced console or not. if they're getting left behind, the world will continue to spin.

The demand for games, accessories and controllers is not high. I can't imagine that lack of demand to blamed on anything else other than pricing or uncertainty of the economy.

Do you think parents or casuals know that, or do you think that they only know of the TV news reports of the console and game price increases? The biggest story revolving around the Switch 2 before launch was the price increases.I imagine the people who purchased the console are aware of the game prices, yes.

Cyberpunk 2077, Street Fighter 6, Yakuza 0, Bravely Default Remaster. All rereleases. Only Fast Fusion and Split Fiction are new but both are a bit of a niche thing.

I've gone through all tabs of the eShop and don't see any filter like that anywhere.
