    "Respect for international law is critical"

    Sounds remarkably similar to someone else's statement, doesn't it.

      @fkamiah17 And yet… this bombing is exactly what will spur them on to building one.

      Because if they had had a nuclear weapon, no one would have dared do this to them.

      And every other country can see this.

      This act is, essentially, the biggest advertisement for acquiring nuclear weapons ever.

        @Remittancegirl @fkamiah17

        "Technology must never advance for these people." is an unsustainable long term and even medium term strategy.

        It's barbaric. And the actions needed to enforce it only raise tensions. And it won't work. Many nations that "must never" have bombs already have bombs.

        The arrogance is bad. And it is not even arrogance informed by indomitable military power. Because there isn't enough power in the sun itself to keep a lid on this forever.

          What does she imagine the world will be like in 100 in 200 years?

          Oh that's right. These are the kinds of leaders who have no such visions of the future.

          "never"

          Really.
