    My husband and I have this running joke based on an old Daily News article we saw a decade ago. The article was about a suspected arsonist. They had a little inset photo of the suspect who the Daily News clearly thought was guilty (and I think they were correct but that isn’t the point) the photo frame was an oval shape and had little victorian curlycues around it. A graphic frame used for over half a century— the caption “fiend on trial”

    “fiend on trial”

    you know that will be a FAIR trial.

      The use of the word “fiend” put me in a laughing fit where I couldn’t breathe for an hour.

      But that was just how they always featured photos of people on trial. This was only a decade ago— I wonder if they still do it.

      WHY do you need a TRAIL if you know he is a fiend??

            @snork303

            It wasn't quite THAT fancy, but close enough.

            I guess after reading the informative and shocking article I could say "I have seen him! That fiend they have put on trial at the court house for his dastardly fire-setting. What is the world coming to?" etc. etc.

                @mrbruno @snork303

                Having an article like that about you *is* a punishment.
