We were in the no dishwasher camp until about 4 years ago when I got a countertop model and ... I LOVE IT. I love the dishwasher so much. I sometimes go in there and give it a hug as it is thrumming softy on the counter.
But this is all about laziness. I don't think it saves much time at all.
