I know I say this often, but if you want more luxurious clothing that makes you happy when you look in the mirror there is no better way to invest your time or small $ than in tailoring, and/or made-to-measure clothing.

I just got my new pants, and taking them out of the shipping bag and putting them on and having them fit perfectly is a simply magical experience.
The thrift-ed blazer from the 80s altered was even better.
The difference between "fits OK" and perfect fit is hard to explain.

@futurebird but then I'd need to learn how to use a mirror. Never could get the hang of those dang things ...
