They thought it was an anomaly. A consequence of edge cases in the mathematics. A cuddles and pets singularity made sense... on paper, but how could a region of space from which nothing but purring escaped exist?
How could it be possible that adding more pets and cuddles only increased the horizon?
Wouldn't such a theoretical object, if real result in the whole universe becoming a single mass of affection controled by #PicaTheCat?

@futurebird It is well known that if a cat is sitting in your lap it is impossible to stand up. What was not realized until recently is that this is also true of the particles and antiparticles that fall into the Snuggly Zone surrounding the cat.
